Weekly tasks in school

Week 1:
Decide on theme idea
Collect Resources
Observational Drawings 
Photographs – primary sources

Week 2:
Observational Studies 
Vary the media – Wet and Dry
Work in and outside your sketchbook

Week 2/3: 
Artists/ craftsman/ designer referencing – look up the artists on the exam paper, find ones that will inspire you and influence the theme.

IMPORTANT – your analysis must not be simply descriptive, it must show your thoughts, feelings and ideas on the work you are looking at.
VISUALLY explore the artists work

Week 4: 
Develop ideas and use media in the style of your artist.
Use your photographs, drawings and resources to accomplish this.
Artist referencing – annotate, explore, be thoughtful not just straightforward.  

Week 5/6/7:
Develop ideas and use media in the style of your artist –
Use other media to get similar effects – but work with what you KNOW you are good at.
Use your photographs, drawings and resources to accomplish this.

Week 8/9 Finalising plans for final piece (s) You may decide to look at other artwork/artists.
Organising 4 A1 sheets (boards) into A01, A02, A03 and A04 (idea).
Tie-up any loose ends
